A man has been found dead behind the wheel of an Asta car park in Birmingham.
The tragic discovery was made this evening by emergency services at a supermarket in Great Bar.
A member of the public reported seeing a man “unconscious” inside a vehicle around 6pm on Thursday, April 29th.
Police, paramedics and firefighters were called to the scene, where the team found the dead man.
The shopkeeper was pronounced dead at the scene – and police did not consider the death suspicious.
A West Midlands Police spokesman said: “Police and paramedics were called to the car park in Asta Quieslet at around 6pm today following the concern of a man who appeared to be unconscious inside a vehicle.
“It soon became clear that nothing could be done to save the man. His death was not believed to be suspicious.”
