Monday opening hours at Tesco, Morrisons, Aldi, Asta and more

People across the UK are looking forward to a three-day weekend, with a bank holiday on Monday, May.

Pubs and restaurants are likely to be busy, while others will continue to celebrate with friends and family the easing of locking restrictions on their gardens.

This means you have to stock up on food and drinks before the weekend, especially when most supermarkets run at reduced hours during bank holidays.

Here are the start times for all the major chains. Some may vary depending on store size and location.

Tesco

  • Saturday, May 1: 6 – 12 p.m.
  • Sunday, May 2: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • May 3 Monday: 8am – 8pm

  • Saturday, May 1: 7 am – 10 pm

  • Saturday, May 1: 7 am – 10 pm

Most Morrisons stores open an hour before NHS staff.

  • May 3 Monday: 8am – 8pm

On Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays the shops are open an hour before NHS workers.
