TT’s Supermarket Association (SATT) assured that there was no need to resort to panic buying as there were enough shares.

In a statement issued on Friday, he said SATT would offer grocery stocks for at least six months and would remain open during this period as supermarkets are classified as an essential service.

However, it reminded the public to adhere to the “one shopkeeper per family” policy that was in place last week.

“Supermarkets are constantly reminded of the need for customers to be reminded to wear their masks properly, and employees are being abused by customers when they try to enforce the Covid 19 rules.
