On the 25th the market celebrates 2 years at Church Hill with a supermarket sweep

Richmond, come. – The market opened on the 25th on Church Hill in Richmond and marked two years on Saturday.

To celebrate the milestone, shopkeepers ’receipts entered a raffle to participate in a supermarket sweep.

One woman was lucky enough to win, meaning she had three minutes to fill her shopping card to the brim.

Shopping was able to get more than 400 worth of groceries in his shopping cart.

Workers said they could not have planned a better celebration.

“We were not under any pressure to do that,” one employee said. “We thought we’d give back to our customers who supported us in the way we supported them. Since we are in a food desert, we understand the importance of the store to the community as well as the surrounding areas.”

On the 25th the market will be open daily from 7am to 9pm
