Postponement of Congress vs Flames game 2 after Vancouver players, enter coach Covid-19 protocol

Wednesday’s match between Vancouver Canucks and Calgary Flames has been newly postponed COVID-19 Concerns.

He said two NHL players and one member of the Conox training staff had entered the NHL’s Govt-19 protocol.

On Tuesday, the team confirmed that forward Adam Cudded had a positive test. The other player and coach have not yet been named.

Canucks coach Travis Green said Tuesday that forward Jake Wirtanen was at home due to ill health.

Players who give confirmed positive tests should be self-isolated for 10 days, and close contacts should be self-isolated for 14 days under NHL protocols.

In the previous season, Canucks Forward J.D. Miller and defenseman Jordi Ben missed several games after being included in the league’s COVID-19 protocol list.

A player on the list does not need to test positive.
