Saturday The province lowers the eligibility age for the COVID-19 vaccine

Winnipeg – The Government of Manitoba has lowered the eligibility age for the Govt-19 vaccine.

On Saturday, the province expanded its eligibility to include 56 people – below 57 – and 37 for first- and 36-year-olds and over.

As far as the province is concerned, 328,515 vaccines have been distributed so far. 5,996 dose is scheduled to be administered on Saturday. According to provincial reports, nearly a quarter of adults in Manitoba have been vaccinated.

To qualify for the vaccine.

The new rollout plan will include everyone in high-risk areas over the age of 18 who will be included in the rollout, as well as leading responders such as police and firefighters.

The province has not yet said which areas will be included in the high-risk category.
