If you forget that today is a bank holiday in Ireland and your refrigerator looks a little empty, do not be afraid that supermarkets will be open today – with slightly reduced trading hours.
So if you need some picnic nipples, ice for those important beacons or some BBQ meats – your favorite supermarket will be open for everything you need.

Tesco opening hours vary depending on each individual store. Usually bank holiday time is like average Monday.
For example, the opening hours of Tesco’s DrumCondra store in Dublin are 7am to 10pm on Saturdays and Mondays, and 8am to 10pm on Sundays.
