Four colleagues from the Easter Rose supermarket took action to increase the treasures of a Highland charity.

Friends of the Dine Tesco store took on Maggie’s Highland Run 50 Mile challenge.

Most of the challenge was due to weather and icy conditions, most of which took place. But the challenge was met!

Cherry Cottonch, who lives in Inver; Denise Hart of Tornoch; Lorraine McDonald of Alnes and community champion Emily Lacy-DeGill are from Tornoch.

Each collected donations individually and via Facebook.

Lorraine was stopped by a passerby on her way out and donated. Cherie chatted with some customers and their efforts were sponsored by them.

Lorraine has been diagnosed with breast cancer and is back in part 2020. He benefited from Maggie and the charity is very close to her heart.

Between them they donated nearly 00 1800 to the Thanksgiving Charity.
