The girl goes missing after leaving the Woolworths supermarket

There are worries about a woman who went missing after leaving a Melbourne Woolworths supermarket a week ago.

Mariam Hamka, 36, was not seen leaving the Woolworths store on Albert Street in Brunswick at 5.30pm on April 10.

“Mariam is 165 cm tall, has a slender build and long black hair, brown eyes and an olive complexion,” police said.

“He was last seen wearing a black dress and told family he wanted to meet a friend in Brighton.”

CCTV was released in Wallis on the day of Ms. Hamka’s disappearance.

On Friday, police executed a warrant and arrested a 45-year-old Brighton man.

He is currently assisting police investigations.
