Study discrepancies are declining in cases measured in the UK

Following the outbreak since the beginning of the summer due to the highly contagious delta variation, the UK recently recorded 60,000 new cases in 24 hours. But the daily figures for new contaminants have been declining for some time before starting to rise again in recent days.

The Govt-19 epidemic continues to progress in the United Kingdom last week, according to a study released by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) on Friday, which contrasts with the declining number of cases reported daily by health services.

For the week ending July 24, the ONS reported that the number of cases in the United Kingdom, with the exception of Scotland, continued to rise, with the percentage of people doing positive testing declining, although the UK could still be in recession.

The ONS, based on a population sample, estimated that 856,200 people were affected in the UK that week, or one in 65, as in Northern Ireland. In Scotland, one in 110 is affected and in Wales one in 160 is affected.

These figures compare to new daily cases being recorded every day, which have provoked confusion among scientists and the government, at a time when the UK is mingling with the end of restrictions and the start of school holidays.
