Finland’s party-loving former prime minister has officially ditched her tuxedos for party dresses and crop tops over the weekend — just months after leaving the country’s highest office and her husband.
Sanna Marin, 37, showed off her figure in several elegant bodycon dresses as she joined her friends at the Flow Festival, a three-day concert in the capital, Helsinki.
The youngest world leader in history and well-known personality has shared many photos of herself enjoying her non-politics lifestyle and what she described as her first “proper summer vacation” in a while.
Maren kicked off her bachelorette girl summer weekend in a sheer black dress, photos she shared in the Instagram view.
The former world leader modestly donned a pair of black biker shorts and a sports bra under a long-sleeved, knee-length dress, which she styled with matching black stockings and mirrored sunglasses.
For day two, Maren dared the color and stepped out in a Barbie-esque mini dress in hot pink complete with black thigh-high boots.
She was apparently joined by Member of Parliament Nasima Razmyar, who opted for a low-key outfit of baggy trousers and a tank top.
The former prime minister included a photo of herself rocking a pink camisole, tie-dye miniskirt, and chunky black heels.
Maren also shared videos of herself seamlessly intertwining with a crowd of young adults enjoying live music — who apparently didn’t realize their former frontman was dancing among them.
A fun-filled weekend seemed to be the new norm for the retired politician.
“I had a proper summer vacation this summer for the first time in a while,” Maren wrote this summer. on Instagram last week.
It included, among other things, preoccupation [5-year-old daughter] Emma, sports, friends, good food and unforgettable trips.
Most of her followers applauded the change.
Thank you for showing the world that you can fill a chair as president and wear whatever clothes you want at the same time,” commented influencer Dr. Cecily Johansen.
“Surely we would have already achieved world peace if most world leaders had been as cool as Sanaa,” one wrote.
Another agreed: “A politician having a great time and looking really cool. This sets a really good example for young people and you’re giving Finland great PR.”
Marin officially left her position as Prime Minister of Finland three weeks ago, when Petteri Urbu of the National Coalition Party took office.
Although she was the incumbent, Marin and her party came in third place in the election.
Marin, the world’s youngest prime minister when she took office in 2019, faced criticism for her partying and her government’s big spending.
Her four-year reign was also plagued by rumors that her partying ways were taking a toll on her job.
Maren came under intense scrutiny when videos of her passionately dancing with a pop star went viral last year. A few days later, a leaked photo showed two topless influencers kissing at a party hosted at the Prime Minister’s residence.
She accepted the critics’ demands that she be given a drug test – and it worked.
“I am also a human being,” Marin said, defending her right to a private life.
“I do my job. I learn from this… I want to believe that people look at the work we do, not what we do in our spare time.”
The former politician and her husband of three years, Markus Raikkonen – though he’s been a partner of 19 years – announced their plans to divorce in May, less than a year after the scandals.
The couple, who share a daughter, Emma, said they will remain best friends despite joint filing for separation.
