Pokémon Go Festival 2023: Global Special Research Quests Guide

As part of Pokémon Go Fest 2023: Global, there’s a new special research focused on dancy And Mega Raycusa For players who purchased a Go Fest 2023 ticket.

On Saturday, players were able to obtain Diancie Special Research and on Sunday they were able to start Mega Rayquaza Special Research. Players who have not purchased a Go Fest ticket have access to a shorter Special Research pool that rewards Meteorite, but does not grant as many rewards as Paid Search. You must complete the usual “Sky High” quest to unlock the paid version. Since these are special quests and not timed quests, they are permanently available once unlocked, so you can take your time completing them.

To perform the search below, you need to purchase a Pokémon Go Fest 2023 ticket for $14.99. If you haven’t purchased it, Diancie will be available to you at a later time, but you’ll have to wait.

Go Fest: 2023 Exquisite Faces Special Search (Diancie)

Step 1 of 6

• Spin 3 PokéStops or Gyms (2 Incenses)
• Use incense (23 Poké Balls)
• Pick up 10 Poké Balls (3 Nanab Berries)

rewards: 3 Razz Berries, 2 Lures, 3 Pinap Berries

Step 2 of 6

• Complete 3 field research missions (Joltik Encounter)
• Use 5 berries to help catch Pokemon (2 incubators)
• Catch 10 different types of Pokemon (Encounter Oranguru)

rewards: 2,023 XP, 2 Boffins, 2,023 Stardust

Step 3 of 6

• Two eggs hatch (two lucky eggs)
• Spin 5 PokéStops or gyms (Shellos [West Sea] he meets)
• Have a sweet walk with your friend (Shellos [East Sea] he meets)

rewards: 2,023 XP, Carbink Showdown, 2,023 Stardust

Step 4 of 6

• Catch 10 Pokemon (2 star pcs)
• Get 7,190 stardust
• Evolve 3 Pokemon (Encounter Hisuian Growlithe)

rewards: 2,023 XP, Diancie Encounter, 2,023 Stardust

If you already have a Diancie to attend the Go Fest event in person, you’ll get 25 Diancie Candy instead.

• Get 7,190 XP (3 rare candies)
• Boost 10 fantasy-type Pokemon (3 rare treats)
• Boost 10 rock-type Pokemon (3 rare treats)

• Claim the reward (2,023 XP)
• Bonus Claim (2,023 Stardust)

If you already own the shirt and stand in for a Go Fest event in person, you’ll get 25 Diancie Candy and 100 Diancie Mega Energy instead.

“Go Fest: 2023 Super Sky High” Special Search (Rayquaza)

• Explore 1 km (3 Super Potions)
• Complete 2 field research missions (23 Poké Balls)
• Visit 10 PokéStops or Gyms (2 Lucky Eggs)

rewards: 2 Fast TM, 1 Meteor, 2 Charge TM

Step 2 of 5

• Get 3,840 Stardust (20 Raycusa Candy)
• Boost 10 Dragon-type Pokemon (Gumi Encounter)
