The Grand Theft Auto community is struggling to cope without a GTA 6 release date

It would be an understatement to say that anticipation for Grand Theft Auto 6’s release date has reached fever pitch. It’s probably more accurate to say that expectations have been launched into space and smashed into the sun – and fans are clearly struggling to cope.

The GTA community has convinced itself that Rockstar is planning to announce the GTA 6 release date sometime this week. Then it happened yesterday, October 25th. It came and then went. Now it is October 26th. And so far, nothing.

Why this optimism this particular week? There are a number of bizarre theories put forth by members of these most passionate fandoms. Among them is Rockstar’s history of favoring October for game announcements. Rocktober, it’s called. Well, time is running out for Rockstar to say something (anything!) this month about GTA 6, which I imagine will end up being the biggest release date announcement ever when it finally arrives.

The thriving GTA 6 subreddit is filled with increasingly desperate posts from fans making the case for October 2023. “So, here it is,” Affectionate_Mall_61 wrote. “Last chance Rocktober. Is the wait over or will we return to normalcy and see again next year?”

we are in Fake age rating, Fake Metacritic page GTA 6 rumor mill stage. Fans are adding investor calls to their calendars, and even pointing to the lack of a pinned tweet on Rockstar’s official Twitter page as evidence that the developer is on to something.

In fact, the GTA fanbase has been in dire straits for some time. Earlier this month, fans thought they saw a teaser of GTA 6 in an image Rockstar posted of the moon. truly. A developer can’t tweet a single image about GTA Online or Red Dead Online without replies drawing V and I to it. The numbers are definitely there, if you look at them hard enough.

Rockstar will of course announce GTA 6 when it’s ready With a release date likely set for 2024It probably won’t be long before the real excitement begins. For now, maybe it’s time for everyone to take a break. “I’m very tired” Redditor Few-Leg-7890 said.
