The Vuelta a España faces the steep Catí wall on Stage 8 – Preview

3.9 km with an angle of 11.4% with slopes of more than 20% – this is the last climb of the Xorret de Catí for today.

Here’s a look at the general classification ahead of Stage 8. A lot of the big names are still very close together at this stage of the race.

Yesterday’s stage was one for the sprinters in Oliva Jeffrey Sopp (TotalEnergies) emerged as the surprise winner By Orluis Aular (Caja Rural-Seguros RGA).

It’s a short stage but it has plenty of climbs along the way – three Category Two climbs, a third catapult and the final Category One challenge.
