He spent the entirety of last season on the 49ers’ practice squad. He’s played in all six preseason games over the past two summers, at both guard positions, with one start in the year’s opener and 224 offensive snaps in both prep seasons combined.

McCrary-Ball (6-0, 222), similar to Poe, is a first-year player who was signed as a UDFA after the 22nd draft by San Fran out of Indiana. He has spent the entire 22nd season on the 49ers’ practice squad but has had very active prep seasons in the past two years. In 2022, he started two of the 49ers’ three pre-season games, and then this year he started the PS Open. Both summers together, he played in all six Niners PS matches with 28 tackles, two tackles and one interception.
