Three visitors from the United States, Russia and Ireland returned to their home countries.
Many foreign tourists were evacuated from the Indonesian island of Bali on Monday, July 12, after being caught without masks, first facing an eruption caused by the delta variant of the Indonesian corona virus.

Authorities say three spectators from the United States, Russia and Ireland were stopped on flights to their home countries after being caught without masks in public, in violation of the new zero tolerance rules adopted in Bali. “They violated the basic hygiene standards required to wear a mask during this emergencyPali Justice Chief Jamaruli Manihuruk said.
A Russian woman who refused to notice the isolation after a positive test should also be expelled, as she no longer carries the virus. All four foreign tourists were deported for violating the new rules in force in Bali.
Indonesia, the world’s fourth most populous country with a population of about 270 million, has recorded 40,427 positive deaths and 891 deaths in the last 24 hours. The number of daily cases has quadrupled in a month.
The new, more stringent social distance rules will be in effect in Indonesia until at least July 20. The island of Bali has so far suffered less than other parts of the country, but the number of victims is increasing every day. A total of 56,000 cases and 1,648 deaths have been reported on the island.
