Brad Pitt Says Angelina Jolie He outplayed him twice by secretly selling her stake in a winery they jointly owned… He sold it to the Russian oligarch, and now he’s suing her to back out of the deal.
Brad’s legal documents, obtained by TMZ, are part of the never-ending divorce war. The two bought the Chateau Miraval in Correns, France, in 2008. Brad says he’s invested a lot of money and time in the winery over the years, though he admits Angelina took 40% off his $28.4 million purchase price.
Brad says he alone made the winery a success because by 2013 she wasn’t doing much in that department. He claims that they have always had an understanding… Neither of them can sell their interest without the consent of the other.
Fast forward to 2016…Angelina Submit an application for divorce And it became controversial.
Last July, Angelina went to court and told the judge that she had reached an agreement sell their interest for an unnamed person. Pete says in September he’s agreed to let Angelina do it follow up sale But he made it clear… that he wasn’t agreeing to sell, but instead would give a thumbs up or down to the proposed buyer.
Brad says in October he was shocked to learn that a company called Tenute del Mondo – a subsidiary of the Stoli Group (the vodka company) – was controlled by a Russian oligarch, Yuri Schefflerbought her interest in wine.
He says Angelina never asked for his consent and deliberately kept the terms of the deal from him.
Brad says Scheffler wreaked havoc on his ability to run a winery.
A source close to BP tells us, “Unfortunately, this is yet another example of the same person ignoring his legal and ethical obligations. In doing so, you have violated the rights of the only person who poured money and effort into equity in the business success by claiming the sale of both the company and the house the family of a third party competitor.
They continue: “It seeks a return on investment that it did not achieve and profits that it did not earn.”
Brad now wants the judge to cancel the deal. He also wants compensation.
We’ve reached out to a rep for Angelina… So far, no word has come in.
