Online shoppers have shared their frustration as Tesco supermarkets have been selling suede that is apparently ‘the size of a small apple’.
An MKFM listener contacted us to share that the sweet they bought for 80p from Tesco’s online store was “too small” to feed the couple’s family, even before it was peeled.
Upon closer inspection, hundreds of other disgruntled shopkeepers have echoed this sentiment, branding the offering as “ripping”.
Sweden has been given 1.6 stars out of 176 reviews online.
One reviewer said: “It’s sad to say that it’s too small – not even the size of my mug for tea – I have a photo to prove it. I really appreciate the sterling work the staff is doing – but I’m not happy with this awful offering at the moment. “
Another added: “Sweet is too small, not bigger than an apple to eat, not enough for 2 people peeled once. I don’t think I should give any stars, but they have no choice.”
The last negative review was released today before small sweets were removed from virtual desco shelves.
They are no longer available and it is not yet known if they will return.
