The launch of the supermarket Morrisons initiative by emerging British brands has provided food entrepreneurs with a faster path to the national market.
The program drops the ability to sell their products to all 497 stores and reach associated online listings.
The West Yorkshire company will provide advertising plans and favorable payment terms to promote business plans.

Successful applicants will receive advice and support ranging from manufacturing and packaging, marketing and logistics to cover every aspect of retail.
David Potts, CEO of Morrisons, said: “There are thousands of people who have great ideas, but getting them to market in large quantities is often a long, risky and complicated process.
“Morrisons started a store 100 years ago and is now one of the largest retailers in the UK.
“For a very long time, small businesses have not had the opportunity or the confidence to measure a great idea of offering hundreds of stores in aggressive sizes. We hope that this project can provide support, guidance and confidence to the best brands with the best products to expand the boundaries of the best brands, reach new customers around Great Britain We hope so. ”

Morrisons launched a Local Food Producers program in 2017 and has since launched more than 1,300 products from local food producers, farmers and manufacturers. The new program aims to find suppliers with the ability to store in stores across the country.
