Neighbors are talking about the disappearance of songwriter Katy Perry
Fears are growing for the safety of the musician who co-wrote Katy Perry’s hit song “Walking on Air” after she mysteriously disappeared from Beverly Hills nearly two months ago.
Camila Lierth Segura, a 48-year-old Swedish native who moved to California, was seen in the Beverly Hills area on June 29, according to the California Department of Justice’s missing persons page.
Her friends told ABC7 that they last heard from her on June 30 and that her car — a silver 2010 Ford Fusion — was seen during the night.
A missing persons report was filed when Ms. Lierth Segura’s sister, who lives in Sweden, had not heard from her in weeks and so called friends in the US to help find her.
Now, six weeks after she was last seen, the talented musician, her car, and her 19-year-old pet cat are still missing.
Cecilia Voss told an old friend The Independent She is afraid that someone has kidnapped her and is holding her somewhere.
“My worst fear is that someone is there for her, and hurting her,” said Ms. Voss, suggesting that the musician’s disappearance is out of character.

Sister is asking for help with a GoFundMe fundraiser
“My beloved sister and dear friend Camila Lehrth Segura has been missing from Beverly Hills, LA since June 29, 2023. She was last seen in Beverly Hills where she lives” Lisa Lehrth books. “We are seeking information about Camilla’s whereabouts.”
Camila sings[er]/Songwriter and model from Sweden who lives in Beverly Hills. She added that she has been writing music for famous Swedish and American artists and was one of the co-authors of Katy Perry’s song “Walking on Air”. We are very concerned for her safety and despite our efforts, the local police have been unable to locate her. If you have any information, even the smallest details can help you, please communicate immediately.”
“She means the world to us and time is of the essence! Her family and loved ones in Sweden are begging for your help!” added the sister.

Friend Cecilia Voss told ABC7 she feared something “bad” might happen to the 48-year-old.
“I’d like to think nothing bad happened, but do I think something bad did?” she said.
Neighbors tell the outlet that they haven’t seen her in weeks, noting that the well-groomed plants on her porch are now dead.
Ms. Leierth-Segura is originally from Sweden but moved to California where she works as a model and musician.
In addition to co-writing Katy Perry’s hit song, she has also released songs on YouTube and Spotify.
Mrs. Learth Segura is described as a white woman with blond hair and blue eyes who was about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighed about 125 pounds.

Friend Liz Montgomery told ABC7 that she filed a missing person report to try and find her as fears persisted that something might have happened to her.
She also urged Montgomery, in an Instagram post, to help track down the missing woman.
“This is a personal friend of mine. Best friend. People ask that, yes! PLEASE SHARE – HELP NEEDED! A dear friend of over 25 years is missing. Last seen in Beverly Hills on June 29, 2023,”
“We are very concerned about her safety and despite our best efforts, the local authorities have not been able to locate her. If you have any information, even the smallest detail can help you, please get in touch immediately.”
She added, “She means the world to us and time is of the essence. Her family in Sweden is asking for your help. Please spread the word, share this post, and help us get Camela home safely. Thank you for your support and help with this crucial matter.”

A sister living in Sweden is worrying
An alarm bell was raised for the missing woman when her sister, who lives in Sweden, was unable to contact her for several weeks.
Concerned, she called some of her brother’s friends in the United States to ask for their help in finding her.

Missing after eviction
Friends of Ms. Leierth-Segura told ABC7 that they last heard from her the next day on June 30 and that her car—a silver 2010 Ford Fusion—was seen “in the middle of the night” that night.
Six weeks later, there are still no signs of the talented musician or the Ford Fusion she was driving.
Lierth Segura’s 19-year-old pet cat Morris is also missing.
The 48-year-old model and musician had been evicted from her apartment sometime before her sudden disappearance because she was unable to pay the rent, according to friends.
It is not clear when exactly she was evacuated or where she will be staying next.
