People stand in long queues outside the main supermarkets in Nasin

People still line up outside the main supermarkets in Nasinu, although there are no long lines outside the supermarkets in Chua today.

Rajendra, in Fijavillage Vallelu, visited Shop N Save and Max Value supermarkets, where people were standing in long queues, which stretched up to the sidewalk.

They line up outside these supermarkets because additional supermarkets in Flastoff, Hanson and Shop N Save supermarkets and shops near Magoi were closed yesterday.

People maintained a social distance of two meters, although some of them did not wear masks or wore masks below the nose.

Crowds lined up outside Vodafone and Digital outlets for M-Pay and Micash top-ups.

We visited some supermarkets in Chua, where the situation was normal compared to the rush we saw yesterday.

It was also observed at Shop N Save supermarkets in Rajendra and Nabua and Newworld IGA supermarkets in Damodar town.

No one was standing outside the MH supermarket at Faststop.

Only a handful lined up outside MHCC and Rajendra’s supermarkets in Suva.
