The Hannaford Supermarket is reminiscent of chicken tenders due to soy allergies

The Hannaford Supermarket on West Chestnut Street in Rome is one of nearly two dozen locations reminiscent of chicken tenders for food allergy contamination. A company statement.

The report states that “Hannaford in-store fried chicken tenders” sold in the telecom sector do not list soy as an ingredient. The item may have been purchased from April 3rd to April 9th.

No injuries or illnesses were reported, but the report said consumers with soy allergies should not consume the product. All customers can get a full refund on it.

Other New York store locations affected include Paulston Spa, Glens Falls, Middletown, South Glens Falls, Troy and Wappingers Falls. Product number 4126876461.

Hannaford stores in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont are also being recalled.
