Woman finds snake hidden in supermarket lettuce bag – myGC.com.au

A mother has taken to social media to share the horrific moment she saw a live snake lurking inside Aldi Gos spinach bag.

The Sydney woman posted about the shocking encounter on Facebook the same day, in an attempt to warn other shoppers.

“Check the packaged greens carefully,” the woman wrote on Facebook.

“Last night my son from Aldi found a baby pale-headed snake with this baby goose spinach.”

There were two photos in the title that show a sliding snake trapped inside a lettuce bag.

His son, who discovered it, contacted the wildlife information, rescue and education service and collected the snake.

“He didn’t realize how dangerous it was!” The woman wrote.

Aldi has confirmed that they are investigating how the reptile got into the lettuce bag.
